Daniel 8:3 through the first half of verse 5 is initially used at first and it is divided from antiquity by that Mighty Sword that divides, that simple little word "and". As the story goes in chapter 8, the Man in Linen (Jesus) was telling Gabriel to make sure that Daniel understood the vision, (8:16) but Daniel makes it very clear according to the last line in chapter 8 that "none" understood it, and that would even have to include Daniel himself. so when the Angel came Flying swiftly to Daniel in 9:21, he came to give Daniel better skill and understanding about the Matter and the Vision. (v.23) The Matter was all about Jesus Christ and that is what verses 24-27 of chapter 9 was all about, but it doesn't say anything concerning the vision that Gabriel was still obligated to. Anyway, once realizing that the interpretation of the vision can only be found in chapter 11 in it's entirety, then it should become obvious that chapter 11 is not in it's proper placement. So the only remedy is to switch chapters 10 and 11, and now everything will work out perfectly. Its obvious now that chapters 9 and 11 needs to be reconnected and once you do, it finally makes sense chronologically. (read the first verses of Ch's 9,10,& 11) and all "3" chapters were written in Daniel's own Hebrew language, but all three are only now shown to be authored by Daniel himself. Here is a recent video i made on the subject; www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0qPCvAlEpM Link
Anyway, back to the comparison between Ch's 8 and 11. As you'll see for yourself, this is unlike anything you've ever witnesses before and is by design something that must prosper in it's time. Dare to compare for yourself and be the first to discover what's been hidden from all of our sights. By doing this comparison it exposes exactly whats going on in the Middle East right now and our (the US) involvement with it insomuch that it almost seems impossible, and nothing is overlooked. Instead of trying to explain everything as i go, i only placed a coupla pointers but that's it.. Let the BIBLE itself speak!!!!
8:3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last. 4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
11:2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

Note:These 2 following verses marks the "beginning" of what Gabriel would later on refer to as the Indignation era in 8:19.
8:5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground:
11:6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
..................................
8:5 (second half of verse 5 where history begins) ...and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. 6 And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power. 7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand. 8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
11:3 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. 4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

11:40 ...and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

8:22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power. 23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
11:40 ...and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: 41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
Note: Again, Gabriel doesn't explain how he was to "shut up" the vision but if it's anything like how he shut up the words as mentioned in 12:4, Daniel "switched" the two era's and put the beginning of the Indignation era "before" that of what is already history, and thats why Gabriel called it the vision of the Evening and the Morning, because the Evening came first.
