The "two" sealed books of Daniel chapter 12?
This is very important to understand for anybody studying (or teaching) end times Bible prophecy, because there are actually two sealed books.
Daniel was told to shut up the words and seal the book in Daniel 12:4 but is it the same as the sealed book that even Daniel himself wasn't even allowed to see it's contents? (read Dan 12:9) Doesn't that kind of contradict itself to assume that they are one in the same?
The first sealed book of Daniel 12:4 was the things that Daniel was shown in his visions during the prior chapters and he knew what all they entailed, so he was able to "hide" it's true meaning simply by switching chapters 10 and 11.
But he was still confused about what would be the end of these things, meaning that he knew the prophecies up to a certain point but then he wasn't ever shown what would be at the very tail end of things. Only Jesus (the Man in linen) or the Lamb of God would be able to unseal that books true meaning and He done just that several years later after His death on the cross when He showed it all to John.
In Revelations chapter 6 He begins revealing to John (and ultimately to us) what all is happening just prior to the second book being opened, and it overlaps with that what was shown Daniel in his visions. The second sealed book is opened just as Daniel's prophecies are playing out, and the story can now continue just as the Seventh seal of Rev 8:1 has just been broken and that book is opened.
So all those many places in Daniel such as 7:24-26,8:23-25,11:40-45, and 10:20-12:3 (and in that order) that never did have an ending, now has right when Jesus opens the seventh seal. But this isn't all of it.. Now you've got to take chapter 11 and overlap it with Rev ch 6 beginning at the sixth seal. also Rev 12:6-17.
